32 of the top drivers around the world gather at the ports of Long Beach for the Red Bull Drifting World Championship this weekend starting Thursday through Sunday.

Target presents this years star-studded lineup of the top actors in the movie industry for AFI Night at the Movies at ArcLight October 1st (last year it was directors). Tickets go onsale at AFI.com or at the box office this Wednesday and are $25 each.

These stars — along with Dustin Hoffman, Cameron Diaz, Denzel Washington, Annette Bening, Jim Carrey, Shirley MacLaine, Rita Moreno and Keanu Reeves — will share some of their most famous films with their fans next month at "Target Presents AFI Night at the Movies."

The one-night-only event is set to take over the ArcLight theater in Hollywood on Oct. 1, the American Film Institute announced Wednesday. The idea is to bring filmmakers and fans together to celebrate American movies, said AFI chief Bob Gazzale.

Today marks the biggest global race in human history as Nike+ hosts "The Human Race" which features the 10K race in over 25 cities. If you're lucky enough (not sure if you consider running for 10K lucky) to land and entrance to the LA race, you'll get to run with over 12,500 participants and catch the performance by Kanye West and Common afterwards at The Los Angeles Coliseum (yup you have to run to see Kanye and Common, or you can buy scalped running tickets for $150 on Craigslist!).
