How to wear it...WHITE PARTY

What to wear to a White Party…drawing a blank? Before you reach into your closet and throw on every white item you own, let me stop you right there before you stroll on down to the Jlounge looking like the karate kid.

Ladies lets start with you first. A major color trend for this season that will make your outfit pop: metallics. Break, up the white palate with metallic accessories be it a pair of silver gladiator platforms, a cute pewter long chain clutch, a studded punk inspired belt or an eye-catching bib necklace, all of which happen to be hot items for the fall ;) Topping my list for the fall is the boyfriend jacket and the ankle bootie. Incorporate any of these items into your outfit and you will be white carpet ready.

Ok guys, I’m here for you too! Ok I know what many of you may be thinking, white pants? Really? Well no not necessarily, if you can rock a pair of white pants go for it; just make sure they are clean! Cream-colored pants that are supposed to be white are not hot. Play with a light color palate whites, creams, greys and blues, just keep it light. Inject a shot of color and make a statement. Items to consider and invest in this fall: a lightweight scarf, a skinny tie, and the loafer. The final item that I must highlight as important in my own opinion, are a pair of well-fitted pants. Note FITTED, not only will it pull your outfit together and make it look oh so clean, it will also make you look taller and leaner and who doesn’t want to look taller?
